Ahead of the UN climate talks in Katowice, Poland (2-14 December), Andrew Norton, Director of the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) said: “This is the most important climate meeting since the Paris Agreement was adopted. Governments meeting in Katowice must seize the opportunity to slow the dangerous trend of rising temperatures.
